successes to controversial detours in his individual life, ‘Azhar’is the story of a fallen hero. Slated to discharge on the 13th of May 2016, Emraan Hashmi fills the shoes of the renowned cricketer Azharuddin –the cricketer,
the icon … the redeemed man!

The movie is a biopic on previous Indian cricketer Mohammed
 Azharuddin and Emraan Hashmi will play the supposed role in it.
The first look of the movie shows Emraan incoming a cricket pitch,
clad in India's blue sweater, gloves, knee pads and a headdress.
He seems all prepared to 'beat' the conflicting team with his bat.
